During the years when Halland Art Museum was closed for renovation and enlargement, we have used the time to immerse ourselves in the museum´s collection. This exhibition is shaped by our investigations. Even though, today we are an art museum, the collection reflects the development of the museum from its start in 1933. In our warehouses there are also many other types of objects; everything from archeological findings to folk art and everyday appliances, made or used in Halland or with other connections to the region. We have here chosen to mix visual art with other objects. Because, what is art? It often exists in a borderland, which also became the title of the exhibition
